Beautiful source of light and heat
The Finn candle - also called Swedish torch or Swedish fire - is a tree trunk that is cut crosswise in the middle. When lit, the Finn candle burns slowly from the inside out and spreads a beautiful light and warmth.
Carve your unique piece
Under the guidance of a master carpenter, you and your team will carve a finned candle, which they can then take home with them. Each workshop participant receives a tool set and a delimbed and already cut spruce trunk of around 60 cm in height. After the welcome, the wood expert shows you how to handle the tools and what you have to watch out for so that there are no injuries.
Now you get started. With wood carving tools, chisel and hammer you carve patterns into the tree trunk by removing the bark. You can carve floral, graphic or figurative patterns into the trunk. There are no limits to your imagination.
Finally, pull a sisal cord as a carrying handle through pre-drilled holes so that the fin candle can be easily transported.
