Who can hit the golden mean? Practice using a bow and arrow at the mobile shooting range and then take part in the tournament.

Hit the center of the arrow quickly

Travel to Appenzellerland or bring the mobile shooting range to the location of your choice and learn step by step how to hold, draw and shoot the bow and arrow so that the arrow hits the center of the target. After a few practice shots, it's time to get serious. In the tournament, you try to score as many points as possible in small teams. Of course, you can compete several times. Which team has the most Robin Hood talent? You will find out after the scoring at the final award ceremony with prize-giving.

Implementation at any time of day or year

The workshop is ideal as an activity during the dark season as well as in summer. A natural tent serves as rain or sun protection. During archery at dusk or at night, the targets are illuminated by spotlights; torches and petrol lamps also create a festive atmosphere. Look forward to a relaxed event where you can playfully learn how to focus on and achieve a target.

Possible procedure

You can determine the times of the program yourself. Below is an example of what an afternoon program could look like:

2.30 p.m. or as desired: arrival and aperitif
When you arrive on the meadow, the mobile shooting range is already set up. You will be greeted by the experienced archers and fortified with an aperitif (simple platter with meat, cheese and bread) for everything else.

14.45: Start of archery
After the first instructions and trials with bow and arrow, you will form smaller teams and compete in the archery tournament.

16.00 hrs: End of the archery tournament
At the end of the tournament, the scores are tallied. You enjoy a drinks aperitif, then the award ceremony follows: the best group receives a winner's prize, the other teams receive a small consolation prize.

16.30 hrs: Farewell
