The loosening up before Christmas dinner
This event is just perfect to loosen up before the Christmas dinner. Race each other as a team in the Christmas-decorated old town of Bern. Get to know Bern's customs and traditions during the Christmas season.
Possible procedure
At the beginning of the event, each team of about four people receives a question dossier with the necessary material. The event management explains the rules and announces the time and place for handing in the dossiers. The teams are on foot in the old town of Bern. But watch out: For every minute of delay, one point will be deducted!
4.30 p.m.: Meeting point with the event leaders at the Zytgloggeturm or at the location of your choice in Bern's Old Town; instructions on the procedure.
6.30 p.m.: Arrival at a restaurant in the old town or at the castle steps next to the Nydegg church (covered shelter); handing in of the dossiers and evaluation by the event leaders.
19.00 h: Explanation of the solutions, ranking list and award ceremony; farewell of the event leaders
Weather and culinary
This event can easily take place in any weather. Should the weather not play along as ordered, a rain jacket or umbrella will suffice.
Bern also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights. For dinner you can go to a cosy restaurant in the middle of the old town of Berne. The restaurant is located near the famous Zytglogge Tower and the Bern Cathedral. The menu features seasonal dishes from Swiss cuisine with international influences. Here you will be pampered like a king.
