Bus trip to the Swiss classics

On this tour in a comfortable bus, you will travel into the hilly heart of Switzerland and discover two world-famous classics with all your senses. First of all, there is the "king of cheeses", Emmentaler AOP. In the cheese dairy you will learn more about its production and of course you can also taste the salty delicacy. After lunch, we continue to Kambly, where the finest biscuits have been produced since 1910. Here, too, you can see for yourself how good the specialties taste.

The cheese dairy in Emmental

The home of Emmentaler AOP has been in the Emme valley since the 12th century. The cheese dairy is also located in Affoltern i.E., in the midst of the wonderful hilly landscape of the Emmental. It offers you an audiovisual tour of the history and production of Emmentaler AOP as well as a cheese counter with around one hundred different Swiss cheeses for sale. In the restaurant you can enjoy a fine regional meal with appetizer and dessert.

At Kambly and the many Guetzli

Trubschachen with its Kambly visitor center is only a 30-minute drive from the Emmental cheese dairy. Here you can watch sweet delicacies being made in the show confectionery, listen to the Kambly story and discover the secrets of the art of pastry making. Finally, you can taste your way through around a hundred varieties of Guetzli in the factory store and fortify yourself in the café before heading home again.
