Technology and practice
In the workshop you will get to know the Swiss cultural heritage of yodelling better. First of all, you will learn what it takes to yodel, from posture to breathing to the correct singing technique. You will practice the throat strike and also try your hand at yodeling. You will then study a yodel song with your team and sing it together at the end. Look forward to an unforgettable musical group experience.
The workshop leader
The workshop leader started yodeling at the age of 14 and soon attended her first yodeling course. Further vocal training with renowned course leaders and singing teachers followed. During two years she gained her first experience in public performances with the yodel quartet "Chüejerlüt Schangnau". From 2005 to 2015 she sang in duet with Christine Schlüchter, accompanied by Michel Aeschbacher on the hand organ. During this time she also trained as a conductor and as a course instructor in yodelling. She sings with Brigitte and Daniel Glücki and leads the yodel club Blasenfluh Oberthal.
