Snowshoe tour with hut fun
The tour starts in the surroundings of Adelboden. After a slight ascent through the forest, you reach a large clearing. You hike past rustic alpine huts that invite you to linger.
On snowshoes, you cross untouched nature away from the hustle and bustle. There is no disturbing engine noise, no ski lifts and pistes.
Your destination is a mountain hut on the Bonderalp at 1700 m above sea level. Enjoy the wonderful view of the Adelboden mountains and the village. Afterwards, recharge your batteries with a fondue or Älpler macaroni.
The tour can be shortened or extended. You decide the route as well as the pace and time of day of the ascent. It is possible to start the hike in the evening at dusk or at night as a full moon tour.
The alpine hut on the Bonderalp can also be visited in summer. At this time of year, you can watch the alpine cheesemaker making mountain cheese.
