100% mexican food
Who does not love the tasty Mexican cuisine! Since 2010 it has even been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this workshop you will learn how to prepare traditional Mexican dishes from corn, beans, tomatoes, chili and avocados. Genuine Mexican food is quickly on the table and ideal for making visitors happy. Look forward to a cheerful evening, led by a Mexican woman who will tell you her insider recipes.
Everything made by hand
From sopes to flautas, enchiladas, quesadillas, tostadas tamales, chilaquiles and sincronizadas to pollo en cocacola, pollo al tamarindo, salsas caseras or champigniones al tequila, everything is made by hand in this cooking adventure. Even the tortillas, which of course must not be missed, are made by hand from corn flour. At the end of the evening, a seven-course gourmet buffet will open up to you. How spicy the food should be is determined by each and everyone.
The cook and course instructor
Her teacher is a genuine Mexican from Monterrey who has been living in Switzerland for 15 years. Out of love for food and especially for Mexican cooking culture, she founded her own cooking school. Since 2004 she has been teaching Swiss people how to prepare Mexican specialities. She also gives Spanish courses at the Volkshochschule Langenthal. In addition to her mother tongue, the certified adult educator speaks German, English, Japanese and some French.
