The visit to the joinery
Have you ever wondered how a tree is turned into furniture? Or what steps are necessary to turn a thin board into a wide wooden panel? This workshop will give you a unique insight into the production processes of a joinery. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and, finally, you will be able to try your hand at it yourself.
The workshop
In the first part of the workshop, you will get to know the joinery's machinery: The professionals will show you how they work. In the second part, you will learn how to process wood: whether rounding, sanding, milling or oiling - under expert guidance, you will use small machines and a lot of manual work to make a cutting board or a bread holder from high-quality Swiss wood. Of course, you can take the finished product home with you.
Option: Personalized promotional gifts
The cutting boards or bread holders are ideal as a personal and handmade promotional gift for your own company's customers: if you wish, you can produce them directly in the carpentry workshop. The number of pieces is practically unlimited, whereby the workshop is extended accordingly.
Company tour and aperitif
During a free guided tour of the carpentry workshop, you will learn more about the history of the company (duration approx. 15 minutes). After the workshop, you can enjoy an "Apéro riche" with regional specialties from the nearby village store if you wish.
