Curry blends from all over Asia
Whether India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Malaysia or Thailand: spice blends are an essential part of Asian cuisine. As different as these countries are, so are their curry blends. Each powder and paste is made from a variety of ingredients. The flavors and uses of the individual blends are correspondingly unique. In this workshop, you will learn more about the ingredients and differences and try your hand at mixing spices yourself.
Getting to know and mixing aromatic plants
Some curries are rather mild, others spicy, some hot; there are yellow, green and red curries. But which ingredients actually create these variations? In the curry workshop, you will get to know known and unknown spice plants. You will learn how to process them into a tasty mix and make your own powder and paste. You can of course take both home with you at the end of the workshop.
Optional: Small aperitif
Book a small pre-event aperitif with a curry theme, offering a selection of delicious snacks such as curry dips and pastries. Enjoy the tantalizing aroma of curry accompanied by refreshing drinks (1.5 dl white wine or one beer per person and mineral water for all).
