Your own mustard
What ingredients and production steps are required to get from the mustard seeds to the finished product? You will find out in this workshop. After a short introduction, you will be allowed to lend a hand yourself. You will make a jar of mustard to your own taste and can take the creation home with you after the workshop. The workshop takes place under expert guidance at the location of your choice.
All handmade
First, grind the mustard seeds by hand with a mortar. Later, mix the mustard flour with vinegar or wine vinegar, water, salt and sugar. You have already laid the foundation for your own mustard. Now you decide how your mustard should taste in the end. For the sweet version, add ingredients such as sugar or apples, for a spicy version add spices, herbs and garlic.
Patience pays off
Your mustard sauce needs to mature for a few days to fully develop its flavor. So that the wait is not too difficult for you, at the end of the workshop you can enjoy different types of mustard, cleverly combined, as part of a fine aperitif.
