Watch history hautna at the professional
Meet real watchmakers in a private watch workshop and listen as they give you insights into the history and techniques of their craft. Then take the opportunity to try out the precise craftsmanship for yourself under the supervision of a professional, and experience unforgettable moments dressed in traditional smocks and loupe suits.
The experience on site
Your experience begins directly in the unique studio in the centre of Zurich. First, the watchmaker will tell you the interesting history of the company. Then he will give you an insight into how work is done and how his own watch style is produced. This is followed by an introduction to the Swiss watch industry. You will learn how everything began.
After this short introduction, the main part of the attraction begins. You sit down with our well-trained watchmaker, who will show you in detail how a mechanical watch works. Next, you will have to assemble the parts of the watch. You will wear original watchmaker's clothes and a magnifying glass while the watchmaker overlooks the process. Photographs are allowed during the whole process. At the end you will receive a gift as a souvenir of this exclusive workshop.
