What is forest bathing?
Forest bathing originates from Japanese culture, where it is called "Shinrin Yoku" and is a mindfulness practice that is spreading more and more in the West. Forest bathing is about a mindful, i.e. conscious, stay in the forest and absorbing the forest atmosphere. The focus is on the connection to nature. Forest bathing helps to find deceleration, to fill up the energy reserves and to draw new joy of life. Spending time in the forest has a positive effect on blood pressure, reduces stress and lifts the mood.
Guided stay in the forest
During this guided nature experience, you leave your everyday activities behind, become still and turn your attention to being. Your gait is slowed from a good 5000 steps per hour to just 500 steps. Through the mindful stay in the forest, you perceive your supposedly familiar surroundings as well as yourself in a completely new way. You will learn various mindfulness and relaxation exercises, let the taste of the forest flow through your body during a short tea ceremony, and in the end enjoy the time alone in the here and now.
Tailor made nature program
The guided forest excursion is suitable for teams as part of company health management and/or as a conclusion to a seminar, conference or meeting. The program is discussed before the event and can be individually adapted to your group and your wishes. Combine the excursion with a corporate volunteering assignment, a theme course, a full moon hike, an overnight stay in the wilderness or a survival course. Let us advise you.
