As idyllic as it used to be

Do you remember what it used to be like? How you used to zoom down country roads, the wind in your face, the latest rock song in your ears? Relive that romantic feeling on a Pony or Tomos moped. Chug leisurely along scenic roads with little traffic and enjoy the magnificent views.

Scenery and Coziness

The 40-kilometer loop starts in Herrenschwanden and circles the Frienisberg. Along the way, you’ll enjoy wonderful views of the Alps, the Jura Mountains, the Three Lakes Region, and Lake Wohlensee. For your information, a ring binder with pictures and text is mounted on the handlebars of the Töffli. Along the way, numerous inns invite you to stop and relax, and farm shops sell local specialties. In addition, “Schweizer Familie” fire pits are available along this route for a barbecue picnic.

Suggested Program

Morning / Afternoon: Individual travel by car or post bus to Herrenschwanden

• 10 a.m. / 4 p.m.: Professional instruction; distribution of route maps; putting on helmets and setting off on the group ride

• 3:00 p.m. / 8:00 p.m.: Return the mopeds to the starting point

Alternatives

This event can also be booked as a full-day, half-day, or—in the summer—an evening excursion. The route is forty kilometers long, which corresponds to a riding time of approximately 2.5 hours. You can experience the “moped kid” vibe anywhere in Switzerland. The mopeds can be delivered to the location of your choice. Let us advise you.

Safety and Rainy Weather

All participants will receive a motorcycle helmet. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Rain ponchos will be provided for protection against the rain; in addition, the mopeds are equipped with fenders. This means your outing can take place in any weather.
