The most beautiful motorcycle tour in Switzerland
The Töffli is exactly the right vehicle for the fantastic panoramic route between Thun and Interlaken. Not too fast and yet beautifully varied, the tour takes you on back roads high above Lake Thun via Sigriswil, Beatenberg and Habkern to Interlaken. Incredible views of the lake and the Bernese Alps await you. On the way you can cross the 340 m long Sigriswil suspension bridge and visit the Justistal known from the "Chästeilet". Numerous restaurants along the way invite you to enjoy a fine lunch.
Your program could look like this
- 09.34 h: Departure by Postbus from Thun train station to Goldiwil, Wendeplatz .
- 09.50: Arrival in Goldiwil, turning area. Professional motorcycle instruction; explanation of the route and roadbook; helmet issue; start of the panoramic ride high above Lake Thun .
- 11.00 a.m.: Stopover in Sigriswil at the panoramic suspension bridge .
- 11.30 a.m.: Onward journey
- 12.00 p.m.: Lunch at a restaurant in Beatenberg .
- 13.30 h: Onward journey
- 15.00: Arrival in Interlaken Ost
- 15.30 h: Return journey by train .
Safety and rainy weather
All participants will receive a motorcycle helmet. It is obligatory to wear a helmet. For protection against wetness rain ponchos are given and in addition the mopeds have mudguards. So your excursion can take place in any weather.
