Immersion in a creative process
This workshop is just the right thing to break out of your daily work routine and immerse yourself in a sensual and creative process together with your team for a few hours. At the beginning each participant chooses from a selection of found woods the piece that appeals to him most. Whether small and massive or longish and filigree: each and everyone decides according to his or her own taste.
Bringing out the grown structure
Once you have chosen your personal favourite, the workshop leader will explain how to work the wood to bring out the grown structure. Now it's your turn. Rasp, carve and sand to your heart's content and follow your intuition and inspiration. The shape of the piece of wood is largely preserved, while its subtleties and peculiarities come to light more and more.
Matching base from the blacksmith
After processing, your wood sculpture will receive a matching metal base - welded on site by a blacksmith and finely tuned to your object and your wishes. Afterwards the wood is refined with a special glaze. Finally, all objects are mounted on the finished pedestals, and over a glass of Prosecco or another aperitif drink, you can discuss your creations in a team. You will see: No work is like the other - just as each person is unique. Of course you may take your sculpture home with you.
