This stone carving workshop not only promotes individual creativity, but also team spirit - and has a relaxing effect. Try your hand at this unusual material.

Beneficial activity

In this course, you and your team will work in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere with hammer and chisel on translucent alabaster stones - a material that is ideal for beginners as it is softer than marble, for example. A positive side effect of this workshop is that the rhythmic tapping on the stone is generally perceived as calming and decelerating - a way to switch off from everyday working life and recharge your batteries.

Individual sculpture

The course takes place at the location of your choice or at the artist's location in the Basel region. After a welcome and introduction by the professional sculptor, you will get to work on the stones. You decide whether each person works on their own sculpture or whether you create a joint work in small groups.

In the half-day course (2.5 hours), you can already start working out the first shapes, while a full day opens up even more artistic design possibilities. Whether you want to create a symbol, an abstract form, a bowl or a tea light lamp from the stone - there are no limits to your creativity.

Team games or catering

In addition to working on the stone, games and team-building activities can be incorporated on request. The sculptor is also a trained adventure educator and has a lot of experience with different groups.

To make your day completely carefree, an aperitif or catering can be organized for you and your group on request.
