Adventure in a team
Unlike classic geocaching, GPS treasure hunting is about having a common goal and a sense of achievement within the team. After a short introduction into the use of GPS devices, you will go in small groups to search for clues to a treasure buried in an unknown place in the forest. The GPS device is used for orientation and leads you to clues about the place where the treasure is buried. These clues can be found, for example, under tree stumps, on a lookout tower or in an underground wall.
The recovery of the treasure
When all groups have gathered their clues, you will set out as a whole team to collect the treasure together. Everyone has to help digging! In the treasure chest you will find Prosecco and Schoggitaler. The contents can be supplemented if desired.
Experience in the nature reserve
The starting point of the treasure hunt is at a converted barn in Wisen (SO). The area where the search takes place includes the 1.5 square kilometre nature reserve around the Wisenberg (BL/SO). The treasure is buried in an idyllic place in the forest. It is not only important to find the treasure - in the search, equal importance is attached to taking care of nature.
