A little work before pleasure
Travel to Ticino, discover the beautiful valley of the Leventina and make an unforgettable trip with horses. Riding skills are not required - everything you need to know is explained on site. On the farm in the middle of the Leventina you will get to know your companions and the horses. The owner of the farm will introduce you to the beautiful animals.
Practice lesson and ride
The horses have been greeted and groomed, now all you need is a few basic skills in handling the animals. During a practice lesson you will learn and train how to communicate with the horse and how to steer it. Now you can saddle the animals, get into the saddle and start riding.
Half-day, day or two-day ride
In summer and autumn you can ride in the Media Leventina in the area of Faido, Osco and Carì, in winter the horse ride takes you through the Bassa Leventina in the area of Giornico. You can choose whether you want to ride for half a day or a whole day. You can also book a two-day ride with overnight stay on an alpine pasture. Lunch is included in all three options, and two meals are included in the two-day ride.
