A mortar offers numerous creative possibilities - in this workshop you will learn how to use the tool in the kitchen, in cosmetics or for DIY projects.

Get to the essence of the ingredients

The mortar is one of the oldest and most effective tools known to mankind. It can be used to release the essence of herbs, spices and natural ingredients: A decelerating experience for all the senses.

In this workshop, you and your team will learn how to produce culinary delicacies, soothing care products or accessories for creative activities in a few simple steps. It is also possible to use the mortar for various cultural rituals. In addition to the products you make, you will also take home new ideas from the workshop that can be easily implemented in everyday life.

Various subject areas

You choose which area of application you would like to focus on during the course and make several products from it. It is also possible to integrate other subject areas into the course.

• Culinary applications (selection): Spice blends or salts refined with herbs, pastes, sauces, pesto, sugar with flavorings (e.g. for baking), tea blends.
  
• Natural cosmetics (selection): Scrubs, bath additives and salts, masks for hair or skin, strengthening powders made from herbs and plants for the immune system.
  
• Creative DIY projects (selection): Chalk or natural dyes for coloring paints, paper pulp, modeling clay, art projects, candle wax and more.
  
• Cultural applications (selection): Incense blends, powders for ceremonies, meditative scents (for scented bowls or cushions), cacao or herbal ceremonies.
