Beer culture in the Bernese Oberland
Welcome to the Bernese Oberland! Your team will be welcomed to the Simmentaler Braumanufaktur with a cool beer. After a short round of introductions, the guided tour of the brewery begins (approx. one and a half hours). You will learn lots of interesting facts about the ingredients used and the production process. During the subsequent tasting with a small or large snack, you will discover for yourself the different taste profiles of the beers produced on site.
Sustainable brewery
The Simmental brewery is committed to sustainability. For example, the CO2 produced during the fermentation process is reused in a further production step. The brewery is also careful to use water sparingly and uses the spent grains for its own pasta, crackers and breads. The products can be purchased in the brewery store. Non-recyclable waste is given to local farmers to feed the Simmental cows. The brewery also works with a foundation for people with mental or physical disabilities. Look forward to a visit to one of the most innovative microbreweries in Switzerland.
