In the workshop of the blacksmith
Under the guidance of the blacksmith you will make your personal Viking knife in this workshop. The professional will show and explain each step of the process and, if necessary, assist you in forging, hardening, grinding, polishing and sharpening. The result is a simple small (non-stainless) all-purpose knife made of spring or tool steel. Each knife is unique. Of course, you can take your personal work home with you.
The fascination of an ancient craft
The workshop takes place on the premises of a gardening company, in a converted old shipping container. The ambience of this "marine" self-made forge is unique. Immerse yourself in this extraordinary world and discover an ancient craft that has lost none of its fascination. Experience how hard things become soft and hard again and how, with the help of the elements fire, air, water and earth, a faithful companion for life is created.
An unforgettable experience
Forging is real manual labor. It requires a lot of concentration and know-how to achieve the desired shape in the short time of annealing with the power of the fire and the hammer. To be present at this rustic process and to lend a hand at the anvil yourself will remain an unforgettable memory and will forge your team together in the truest sense of the word.
