The Programme
The task is to forge an iron sculpture welded together from various elements. To provide the iron sculpture with a fitting stand, the participants work a piece of aerated concrete or soapstone into a shapely pedestal.
No forging without communication
The teams exchange information about the appearance of their part of the sculpture so the other party can produce the suitable counter piece. The aim is that the individual elements complement each other and fuse to a single sculpture.
With these activities the participants focus on their own role within the team. Invaluable synergies are created and cooperation is enhanced.
Reflection on the team development process
In order for your team to not only learn through their own experiences, it is advisable to include a supplementary coach who takes an observing role. He reflects on the participants’ performance, provides feedback and – together with the participants - aims at incorporating the experiences into everyday business operation.
