Test ride with the Cargobike
The meeting point and starting point for your Cargobike tour is the Caritas bike station right next to Lucerne main station. Your guide will be waiting for you here and will tell you everything you need to know about the route ahead and how to operate the bikes. Before you set off, you will do a few test laps. The riding experience will be unfamiliar at first, but you will certainly feel comfortable and confident after just a few bends.
Varied tour with a view
And then you set off in the direction of Horw. The route is very varied. It leads through alternative residential areas, along a cycle path that was once a railroad line, through the middle of private allotments and past the impressive villas of Horw. You will enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Pilatus, the Bürgerstock and Lake Lucerne, learn lots of interesting facts about the region along the way and stop for a photo every now and then. If it rains, you can enjoy the ride under tarpaulins.
Coffee break and meal on the farm
Combine the tour with a coffee break at a coffee roastery (including coffee) and a meal on a farm. After the coffee stop, you drive for around an hour in the direction of Horw, where the farm is already waiting for you. Let the farmer couple spoil you with their own Angus burgers and wine and then drive back to the starting point on beautiful side roads with unique views. The tour takes approx. 5-6 hours.
