The Most Beautiful Motorcycle Tour in Switzerland
A moped is the perfect vehicle for the fantastic scenic route between Thun and Interlaken. Not too fast, yet beautifully varied, the tour takes you along side roads high above Lake Thun via Sigriswil, Beatenberg, and Habkern to Interlaken. Incredible views of the lake and the Bernese Alps await you. Along the way, you can cross the 340-meter-long Sigriswil suspension bridge and visit the Justi Valley, famous for the “Chästeilet.” Numerous restaurants along the route invite you to enjoy a delicious lunch.
Here's what your program might look like
- 9:34 a.m.: Departure by PostBus from Thun train station to Goldiwil, turnaround point
- 9:50 a.m.: Arrival in Goldiwil, turnaround point. Professional moped instruction; explanation of the route and the roadbook; helmet distribution; start of the scenic ride high above Lake Thun
- 11:00 a.m.: Stop in Sigriswil at the panoramic suspension bridge
- 11:30 a.m.: Continue the ride
- 12:00 p.m.: Lunch at a restaurant in Beatenberg
- 1:30 p.m.: Continue the ride
- 3:00 p.m.: Arrival at Interlaken Ost
- 3:30 p.m.: Return trip by train
Safety and Rainy Weather
All participants will receive a motorcycle helmet. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Rain ponchos will be provided for protection against the rain, and the mopeds are also equipped with fenders. This means your outing can take place in any weather.
