These fun games are all about alpine life, cheese and other Swiss traditions. Afterwards, you can enjoy a delicious raclette in the rustic hut.

The traditional disciplines

Would you like to experience a day in the great outdoors and promote team spirit in a fun way? Travel with your colleagues to the Bernese Oberland and put your alpine skills to the test in the following traditional disciplines:

• "Chuä mälchä": Who has milking talent? Each team has to pour as much milk as possible into the bucket in a certain time.
  
  
• "Naglä": Which team is first to sink all the nails? Skill and accuracy are required here.
  
  
• "Heupüntel wärfä": The distances covered by all team members are added up in the hay bale throw.
  
  
• "Gloggi lütä": This discipline also requires accuracy: whoever makes the cowbell ring with the ball scores points for their team.
  
  
• "Hufisä schiessä": Each team has to throw as many horseshoes as possible at a metal stick in a given time.
  
  
• "Chees trölä": An alpine cheese has to be rolled down the meadow through a predetermined course.
  
  
• "Stossgarettä-Rennä": Two people at a time go through the slalom with a wheelbarrow: one pushes, the other lets themselves be wheeled.
  
  
• "Rubber pin toss": Who throws the rubber boots the furthest with their foot?
  
  
• "Bumstamm sagä": How long does it take to saw up a tree trunk? Teamwork is crucial here.
  
  
• "Dialäkt erratä": Who knows the meanings of various dialect expressions best?

Award ceremony and raclette feast

At the end, all the points are added up and the best team is duly celebrated. The winning prize could, for example, be a Vogellisi cheese from Adelboden, in keeping with the motto of the day. Of course, the subsequent meal is also about cheese: You can round off the event with a delicious raclette in an Alpine hut.
