What do you know about pasta?
The instructor, who was born in Italy and trained in Tuscany in the art of making pasta and sauces, will take you and your team on a journey into the world of fresh pasta. The workshop is ideal as a team-building event, an outing with friends, or a club activity.
The workshop begins with a quiz on the unique characteristics and ingredients of the countless regional pasta varieties. How well do you know your pasta? The winners will be surprised with a small gift.
Conjure up some tagliatelle and ravioli
Next, the instructor will show you how to whip up the perfect pasta dough in a few simple steps—so you can recreate it at home in the future. Once the dough is ready, it’s time to shape it. You’ll work with a pasta machine to first roll out sheets of dough. These are then cut into tagliatelle. In the next step, you’ll use your dough to make your own ravioli. There are virtually no limits to your creativity: whether square, heart-shaped, or round—anything goes. The pasta specialty is finished with a filling of truffles and mushrooms. At the end of the course, you’ll take your delicacies home with you—along with a delicious organic sauce straight from Tuscany.
